Shannon Cartwright

Shannon Cartwright is a celebrated Alaskan artist and children’s book illustrator whose work has introduced generations of readers to the landscapes, wildlife, and culture of Alaska. Since moving to Alaska in 1972, she has illustrated over 30 children’s books, eight of which she also authored, with more than 1.5 million copies in print.
